3 WEEKS OUT
The past week I have come down with a cold and feeling pretty lousy. I am on lower carbs now due to the fact I only started this comp prep 13 weeks out and Ash really wants me to speed things right up, which is exactly what I need but hard when you are a bit sick, lol! I still lost 2.5ml this week, which is great and a surprise as I really felt I didn’t give it my all this week but I guess it was enough. I still feel great training and my cardio in the morning has been enjoyable but I still dread the nighttime session.

2 WEEKS OUT.
This week I was a bit of a head case lol! I was impossible to live with and was quite negative, I even considered not competing which is very unlike me. I don’t really know what brought it all on, I guess it was extreme fatigue as I haven’t been sleeping all that well due to the baby teething and my son is having some academic issues at school as he only made it into prep by 2 weeks so is the youngest so I’m now regretting putting him through as he is well behind the other kids academically and I just felt like I should give you the comp and put a lot more work into him but thanks to Ash and some dear friends encouragement I soldiered on, they made me realise that I can do both and I have come this far now that I will totally regret it on the day of the show if I don’t continue. I really thank them so much for their support and kind words; you all know who you are. This is why it is so important for everyone who competes to have a good support system behind them as when times get tough…..and they do… you have people to pick you back up and put you on the right road again. Anyway back to the prep, in regards to the food I don’t mind that part of it as its good clean food and makes you feel great, it does break the weekly budget though lol, crazy really to think how expensive it is to eat clean doesn’t seem right, I am getting totally over going to woollies every 2 days ha, and also wouldn’t mind a rest of cooking and constantly preparing food, I will have a nice rest for a week after comp then get stuck into a good off season plan. I lost 1.5 ml this week so am on the track. 2 weeks out progress pic is below

1 WEEK OUT
Wow cant believe I only have 1 week to go, energy is waning but mentally feeling better knowing its only a week to go, lost 2.5 ml this week and heaps of people have said what a difference the last week has made, my weight dropped a fair bit this week and I can now see what I will look like on stage. After a good deplete and then dropping water I feel I will be ready to go…. Ash is a legend and I highly recommend his services to anyone wanting to compete and get in the best condition of their lives, This is it… The next and final blog will cover all aspects of my deplete and load and comp day. Hopefully I will have some good news to report. Thanks to everyone who has followed my blogs so far.
