5 WEEKS OUT!
The last week I feel I have made some great progress, I am now doing my cardio at night which I find very hard time wise due to the fact I don’t get home from work each night until 7:30 and then I have to make dinner and prepare meals for the next day, clean up, prepare kids

meals and lunches for the next day and help kids with homework then send them all to bed, then I can finally get on the treadmill which is usually 9:00pm, I then have to eat another meal around 10:15pm .I’m not complaining though as I know I have chosen to compete and knew what I was in for, just needed a rant ha ha!! In saying all this I am getting the results that I hoped for so it’s all worth it. I don’t know how the body fat test will go tomorrow as I feel I have reduced fat in the other areas, but visually Ash is really happy with how things have gone, I dropped 1.5ml last week. I’m going to be doing some HIIT outdoor work in the park on the weekend so I am looking forward to that. The treadmill can be very boring in excess. Some days I’m super tired and feel like I’m dragging my feet and others I’m charging, you just cant pick it, its all part of it though and I love the challenge and the strict routine. I’m starting to think a lot about stage presentation as its so close now, I would like to have that side of it totally organised now to reduce stress.

4 WEEKS OUT!!
Last weeks results were surprising as I only dropped .5 of a ml, its funny how you can never pick it. This past week I have really struggled with the motivation for cardio. My feet are aching at night and after eating dinner I sit down and put the baby to sleep and it is a huge struggle to talk myself into getting up again and getting moving. I haven’t missed one though as I know there is still a lot of work to go. I got my fat test done today and I dropped another 1.5ml and 1 kilo. I do feel like I’m getting a lot leaner in certain areas but still holding onto that lower back fat and quads are still too high for my liking this close to comp, Ash is awesome at comp prep and I’m sure he can pull me in just in time. 4 weeks out now and that adrenalin is kicking in as it’s getting so close, so I am relying on this to get the job done.
