Timothy Kelk is an Australian amateur boxer and fitness professional with years of experience in boxing coaching. Tim is highly passionate about the sport and will teach you everything you need to know in a safe and fun manner.
Our one on one boxing training sessions caters for anyone who wants to learn boxing, whether you want to get in shape and have fun while you are doing it, or take the discipline more seriously and compete as an amateur or professional.
The boxing sessions vary in intensity and skill level. Basic sessions start with a warm up of stretching and skipping and progress into techniques. Sessions involve working with the bags or mitts, using various punching combinations. More advanced sessions involve high intensity pad and bag work and light-contact sparring drills.
Our 45 minute sessions finish with bag and abdominal work with the medicine balls. You will learn how to apply technique’s using pads and punch bags. At the end of the session you are encouraged to have an all-out bash on the bag if desired.
Currently over half of our boxing clients are women which is something we are proud of. Most begin training because they want to get fit, but many end up getting hooked on trying to perfect the art and skill of putting together a crisp seven punch combination.
We offer 30 or 45 minute sessions.
